Gema started training with Sit Means Sit in 2014 as a client with her dog who had extreme aggression. She was at her wits end and met a trainer in the area who wowed her with his commitment to training and his wonderful black Labrador Coal. Within a year she had joined the Sit Means Sit Team as an employee and has been hooked ever since!
Her passion for dogs and training has pushed her to compete in many AKC sports with her Labradors such as Hunt Tests, Agility, Barn Hunt, Dock Diving, Fast Cat, and Rally. Gema is an AKC Evaluator who can help you with your Canine Good Citizen Testing as well as Puppy STAR and Trick Training.
Why does Gema love Sit Means Sit so much? To her it is simple, the relationship she gets to build with her dogs. “Off leash freedoms and attention based training allow me and my dogs to live their lives to the fullest! We get to go on adventures, travel to other states and overall have a more stress free life. Training is a lifestyle and something you get to do with your dog. I’ll never regret looking back and saying I spent too much time with them.
Peyton began lessons with Sit Means Sit with her Chihuahua, Bella. Bella struggled with some fear based aggression towards strangers and Sit Means Sit was her last hope. Throughout the many lessons she did with Bella, Peyton found her passion in dog training, and joined the Sit Means Sit team in 2018 after working in the Veterinary field.
Peyton has added two Chocolate Labradors to her pack and competes with them in Hunt Tests, Agility, Dock Diving, Fast Cat, Rally and Obedience competitions. She is also an AKC Evaluator who can help you with your Canine Good Citizen Testing as well as Puppy STAR and Trick Training.
Why does Peyton love Sit Means Sit so much? “The control and attention I now have over my dogs has given them a much more fulfilled life. I am now able to take them on trips, on hikes, and give them way more freedom than they had before. I’m also able to showcase my dogs’ abilities in different sports and events that they love to participate in. This would only be possible with Sit Means Sit.
